I posted this in parts on my Tumblr, but I decided to put it together and post it here too since Deviantart won't warp a file of those dimensions.

This is just a guide on how Claire, one of the main characters of my comic, is put together, since some people were interested. I would have gone into more detail, but that'd have been teaching anatomy in general, and this is just a quick easy guide to how Claire is put together.

It was weird having to stop and communicate the thought process behind it, since I don't actually draw most of these steps, but this is more a visualization of what is going through my head when I do sketch her.

I should have noted some other details, like her dimensions, but there's a height-chart for that here: [link]

I love love love how you draw Claire! It's so original and very appealing.
I don't think I've ever noticed she had jowls before.

Yeah, the jowls are only important when shading is being considered.

Thank you for making and sharing this! I think curves are SO pretty but it's a rather delicate balance to get right if you're not used to drawing such shapes so I really appreciate this. She's lovely.

This is more Claire-centric, but I do plan on doing guides to how I draw ladies in general. People seem really interested in that.
