Well, I started working on this when I decided not to add those pages onto the mini comic. I was sad, because I really wanted to show off Carolina finished look. So I started drawing her, then I inked it, then I kept going, added Claire in the back there, and attacked it with markers.
Also, comparison, remember this?: [link]
I had to do some Photoshop tweaking, like fix Carolina's eyes, which were trying to escape from her face, and adjust her knee and Claire's oddly undersized boob.
The liquefy tool is your friend when you use it appropriately.
also oh no, flower sybmolism, that's not TERRIBLY GIRLY you girl go play with your dolls and your ribbons and your sticker album and all those things girls do
Anyhoo, aside from OH LOOK AT SOME CAROLINA, THERE SHE IS ... I also just wanted to use my markers to their full potential. At the end of the day, they're my favorite medium. A lot of people use them just to 'fill in spaces fast,' which is silly, there are other tools for that. Markers have potential that goes unexplored.
This is a mix of Copic markers, Prismacolor markers, white acrylic paint, a white gel pen, and some photoshop tinkering.
